comes from a trip to ancient Egyptian artefacts. I was intrigued by the ancient Egyptian artefact of the ‘Book of the Dead’, a guidebook that slowly unfolded the ancient Egyptians' views on death.
So I wondered what it would be like if we modern people had the Book of the Dead？
I think modern maps are a great form of guidance, so I incorporated a world map into my illustration design, depicting the ancient Egyptians' journey to the afterlife on a world map.
The three maps represent the real world, the underworld, and the afterlife.
I made this booklet myself and in this video I will show you how to read it.

On top of that, I made an ornament out of stoneware clay for the scene of the weighing of the heart.
